10. Run a 10km

About a year and a half ago, I did the Run for Life Learn to Run program.  I ran my first 5km race, and I was really inspired to keep going and to make running a regular part of my life.  However, when it stopped being about learning how to do something, and increasing and improving my endurance or speed, the thrill kind of went out of the thing, and I got out of the habit.  What this tells me about myself is that I need to have ongoing, moving goals, that keep me interested.  So, I’m going to, this year, get back up to speed with the 5km, and then go on to a 10km.
