This week, on February 1st to be exact, I gave my 60 day notice on my apartment! Hurrah! This means I’ve paid my last rent on this place, and I’m officially starting to pack up.
So far, I’ve taken down most of my pictures and paintings, and have filled in those holes. The pictures are already in boxes and labelled ready to go. I’ve packed the books up from the bookshelf that I already weeded, and the boxes are now stored on those shelves. I’ve started to empty out my first closet, to pack those things, or otherwise dispose of them. My plan is to empty and pack an area at a time, and then to store the boxes from that area in that space, so that I can get through all of this in a moderately organized way.
